The importance of PruShield (PREMIER)..

WHOA! What a busy week!

My dear friend, Lyn, got herself appendicitis on Tuesday night. That afternoon, I just had an appt during which I was pointing out the importance of PruShield to my friend. To which he replied "Nah, I'm still young. Besides I'm a christian, thus I should place my faith in God." That brought about a couple of raised eyebrows, am I to think that if I walk into a hospital right now, I will not see any christian? But well, to each his own.

Soon after that, at night, Lyn called and in an almost dying voice "I'm going to hospital.."

Me : WHAT?!
Lyn : I'm going to hospital...
Me : WHY!!!!
(Mind you, in the afternoon she was telling me she had a driving class at night, so dun blame me for running my mind wild.)
Lyn : *passes phone to dad* Pa you tell her..
Uncle Png : I think she has appendicitis..
(in the background) Lyn : Pa ask her if PruShield covers ambulance fee..

DING DING!
Just the day before, Wing was testing Kristen on the PruShield and I overheard PruShield doesn't cover ambulance fees but PruShield Extra DOES! Am I glad I was "eavesdropping" :P

Me : *thumps chest and declares confidently* GOT!!! GOT COVER!!!

Right now, she's lying in NUH in a B1 ward, earning $200 cash everyday she glues her butt there :) Am I glad I insisted on PruShield PREMIER..

Roadshow Queen

Wow wow wow.. The new title that the family has bestowed upon me.

I feel damn honoured and thankful. Honoured to be hailed the first Roadshow Queen of the family and thankful cos I couldn't have done it without YOUR help.
YOU helped me print the quotations when I had more than I could handle, YOU lent me the $10 change when I needed it (and generous enough not to charge me interest :P) and YOU came all the way down to learn and cheer us on! All these actions may seem small but they are what make us family!

And thank YOU for all the support and patience you've shown me thus far. Not by accident, you were the one who pointed out my first client of the day to me. If not for that, I would have definitely missed him cos he was in my blind spot.

And of cos, how could I have done it without YOU? Without your 魔练, I wouldn't have grown and learnt so fast. Time is the key thing here. Probably there are people thinking I have it in me all along and that's true. But how long would it have taken me to get here on my own? Time is something we can never get enough of and that's why La Famille prides on efficiency. If we want something, we want it fast!

But! The stage is not mine alone. It's for ALL of us! So c'mon guys let's rock all roadshows together and I (with my new title at stake) promise, one day, there will be a La Famille Roadshow!

Starstruck

I know this is very overdue but I must still post about this.

I SAW MICHELLE CHIA ON MONDAY!

It was at PS.

Jace and I were heading to her car when I saw this mini cooper coming in our direction. I stole a glance at the car (and the car plate) like what I usually do. I mean, who bothers looking into the car right? But luckily there're some people who do, like Jace!

(after the car went past us..)
J : Hey, did you see who's in the car!
L : No. Who?
J : MICHELLE CHIA!
L : You're kidding right!

Dunno if you guys know how the PS carpark is structured, but I could still see her if I went to the other side of the carpark and looked down to the next level. But I went too far, so I was blocked and could only see the lower part of her car.

Ok I hope I haven't lost anyone so far.

So after that I went back to Jace's car and lamented about missing the chance again.

L : Are you sure it's her not..
J : YA! She had a female friend with her. She still looked at us lor.
L : Ijjit! (flips hair)

While we were still in this topic, with me not completely convinced it's MC, Jace started driving. On our way down, we saw the same mini cooper parked at the side cos she went to top up cash card! Gosh, what are the chances of that? But still, I couldn't be sure it's her cos I could only see her back view!

L : I know! We park somewhere and wait for her to drive down!
J : OK! (and proceeds to park ourselves at the next level down)

After parking..
J : Aiyoh why are we doing this man..
L : For fun la. Somemore I wanna see for myself ma.
J : What if she calls the police on us..
L : Won't one la! We just appear like we're getting ready to leave the carpark like every normal human being would lor. But wait you said she looked at us? Will she recognise us?!
J : -_-
L : Not everyone has red hair you know? (flips hair again)

So I kept looking out for her car to drive down and when it did, I was so focused on looking normal, I forgot to look at the driver! -_- -_- -_-
Wahahahaha! Kill me please!

L : Follow her!
J : OK! (very obliging friend I have here)
L : Eh you don't go bang her car just to get her off the car hor.

So yes, until now I STILLLLLL have not seen her face. By now I think it's pretty impossible to get another chance to.
But guess what, she went the same way as us! And was right beside us at a red light!
If I still missed that chance, I think I might as well go bang wall.

Hahahaha. So yup I finally verified it's her, after so much drama.
Not that I'm a big fan of hers. I just took it as another sign. But I had to see it for myself before I believe that it is.
Besides, it was fun! A bit of a cheap thrill but it definitely helped in taking my mind off stuff. :)

IT is finally up.

The baby of the family. It's not 100% complete, but still it's up! :)
Please feel free to feed this baby with ideas, as that's the only way it can grow. Its birth shall mark the revolutionary beginning of something this world has never seen. Boundless energy, exponential growth, roof-wrecking breakthroughs .. put these few things together and you get the rough idea. Only.

I just got back from the airport. I'm supposed to be concussed on bed right now, but somehow something inside of me thinks it's the perfect time to grace this blog with its first story.

Guess what, I saw Chen Hanwei at the airport, queuing at the departure gate right before us. Coincidence? Probably. A sign? I certainly think so. The number of STARS I see recently is enough to last me a lifetime I think. Starry starry night.. Hahahaha..

Have a blast at Down Under, my dear friend. Go there and do whatever you are there for. You have every right to, you deserve only the best and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Let this one week be a journey of reborn, rejuvenation and reliving. The family can't wait for you to be back and join us proper.
