Some of you may have noticed these 2 bottles of wine in the office. The big number tag should be a good indication of their source.

Last Saturday, my last appointment ended in the most interesting way. My client, who's also my dad's horses' trainer, wanted to introduce me to more people so he asked Zinc and I to join them at this event at Tong Whye Temple. It was almost like a wedding dinner with at least 50 tables I think. I've heard of this temple for a long time, since I started playing basketball 12 years ago, but I've never stepped foot there. Incidentally, Jiefu told me all the basketball guys in La Famille were born there.

So anyways, the table I was at won 2 boxes of the wines during the lucky draw. The trainer gave us one, saying hopefully it can bring us more luck. That's why it's right now sitting in the office... HUAT AH! :P

Anyway, they were really nice people.

Trainer : Did she tell you? *points to wife*
Me : Tell me what?
Trainer : *turns to wife* You didn't tell her ah?
Wife : *blur*
Trainer : My bro's wife just gave birth!!
Me : Erm... CONGRATS! .. *pause* Wanna buy ah?? (half jokingly)
Trainer : YA!!! Reserved for you liao!!
Me : Wow!! Thanks!!
Trainer : Didn't your dad tell you? I told him to!
Me : No. -_- He didn't tell me anything. *throws dad dirty look in mind*
Trainer : (to wife) You bring her to their house k?
Wife : Sure sure! As soon as the baby get his birth cert!

Awww.. So nice right..

好人有好报! So this Friday, the horses he trains will definitely be the champions! :P

My First Trophy

WHERE'S MY IPHONE?!?!

I'm supposed to be a proud owner of the newest iPhone 3gs since the end of July, but amazingly it's out of stock islandwide! BAWLS!
iPhone has always been my dream phone so please imagine my ecstasy when I know I'm going to get one for free! But this one will no longer be just a phone to me. It's the first prize I've won in this career and it will always serve as a reminder that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.

To stretch myself even further, I've doubled my personal goal for this month. Attaining that will win me my 2nd prize, and probably the team challenge set during the meeting last Friday (I both hope and hope NOT). Esther seems to have forgotten the 3rd team formed and led by LAUREN LING. C'mon, just cos that team has only me doesn't mean it doesn't exist! I'm still fighting along with everyone of you! Although the other 2 teams may be stronger in number, do rest assured that I'll be giving you guys a good run for your money.

PS: Does anyone of you have any lobang or know anyone in Singtel who can help me get my iPhone earlier?!?!

My Heart 2 Your Heart

I'm beginning to love these incentive drives more and more. The previous time it was this Heart Cash of $200 for $6000 API incepted, if I remember correctly. This time, it's the PPA Heart 2 Heart incentive cum charity drive. Just to share my joy with everyone, I just cleared the first one today - the Early Bird Incentive! :D Jiefu, thanks for that great idea of yours!

But of cos, I'm not stopping there. This incentive is no joke man. During our PCPS presentation, sometimes we talk about receiving "free money". As if to grant our wishes, this one is REALLY free money! And they're giving away loads of it this time round. Not to forget, it's $10 donated to Singapore Cancer Society for every PPA case incepted. To be honest, I'm not driven by that. :P But I like the thought of doing my part for charity through my work. It feels like hitting so many birds with just one stone.

So I urge everyone of you not to let this rare opportunity slip by. 2 more weeks to go for the Early Bird Incentive and 2.5 months more for the overall Heart 2 Heart Incentive drive. Let's ride on this unexpected but most welcomed additional motivation to move towards our own goals and be rewarded with BIG MONEY BIG MONEY *imitates wheel-of-fortune contestants* at the same time!

Goal Revisiting.

What an exciting month June has been. Just this month alone, La Famille has pumped in more than 100k. At this VERY MOMENT, we're creating waves in PA. And VERY soon, the famille will become the talking point of PACS.

This is only the mid-year mark and look how far we've come. Another 6 months to go, for us to grow and create more. What will YOUR target be? What will YOU be aiming for? That's entirely up to YOU. Always bear in mind that the famille is always there to help. As long as you are happy with your achievements, we will be. Just remember, NEVER sell yourself short.
